In collaboration with Countryhouse Vista sull'oliveto I organize a hand-on cooking week. Get more from your holiday and perfect your cooking in Italy, enjoy the warm climate and hospitality, great food and wine, stunning surroundings and take home recipes from this beautiful area for a lifetime.
You will stay in countryhouse-B&B Vista sull'oliveto, run by a friendly Dutch couple, Ed and Heleen. Their accommodation is within walking distance of my house where the cooking lessons will take place.
You're staying 7 nights in an apartment of Vista sull'oliveto and how wonderful it is that the table is already covered for you for a rich breakfast every morning. This traditional countryhouse is located just 4 kilometres from the historic center of Calvi dell'umbria. The region Umbria is famous for its green countryside, cuisine and medieval towns. Overlooking lush green hills and valleys, this is the perfect place to relax, unwind and discover Umbria's sights and cuisine! Three half-days we are going to work in my kitchen and we will prepare 4 dinners in a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The ingredients for the dishes are bought from local campanies and are super fresh, but it would also be possible that I take you into the fields to pick some wild herbs and vegetables.
During cooking I will tell you the secrets of the Umbrian and Roman kitchen and I will teach you to prepare dishes as I've learned from my mother and the locale people. While you enjoy a drink on the terrace or in the living room, I set the table and then together we will enjoy the meal that we have jointly prepared.

The lessons take place in English.

Cookinglessons are on sunday,  thursday and tuesday

from 16.30 till 21.30 
Other days you are  free to spend as you wish.​

• If you are a solo traveller *), you pay € 100.00 more for your own private apartment.
